Springboard to Empowerment℠ gives people a fresh start by teaching practical tools they can use right away and apply in everyday life. These 12 workshops help attendees
understand how substances, stress, and external influences affect decision-making, enabling them to make more informed choices.

Participants learn to handle stress, manage strong emotions, and respond rather than react to strengthen relationships and stay focused on what matters most.

Learn how to choose reactions that reflect the values you want to model—and provide simple steps to help everyone feel more connected, respected, and understood.

Registration is not required, but participants will be asked to sign in. There’s no cost to attend. You can drop in on one workshop or attend all twelve—each session offers practical tools you can use right away.

Serenity Recovery Connection (SRC) is in Custer County!

SRC is Colorado’s only nationally accredited recovery community organization and they're expanding into Westcliffe, Silver Cliff, Lake Isabel, and everywhere in between. SRC provides community-based peer support and resource guidance for individuals and families navigating substance use and co-occurring mental health challenges.

SRC is different. They are low-barrier, embrace overdose prevention, and support multiple pathways to recovery. Their accreditation is part of a rigorous process that evaluates integrity, leadership, and ethics—so the people served can rely on consistent quality.

They’re your connection to local resources, your guide to navigating the system, and your coach to help you find the next steps.

SRC's services include:
· Peer Recovery Coaching
· Recovery Wellness Planning
· Family Support
· Telephone Recovery Support
· The SRC Training Academy – for those ready to become state-certified peer recovery coaches.

Change is possible, and it begins with a conversation. We recover together.
