From Councilperson Aimee Rogers :
It's been a long time in the works, but it finally happened!

May 5th 2026, a new historic day for the record books for Forestville! That is the day that the Center and Pearl Streets Historic District became officially listed in the NATIONAL Historic Registry! Woo hoo!

Thanks to the Imagine Forestville Historic Team, the Clinton Brown Company Architecture Inc.(CBCA) , State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) and especially to Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation (NCCF) whose generous grants gave us the opportunity to pursue this dream and goal of the community and to Merv and Nancy Fry for their generous donation to see this mission to the end! God bless you all!

Celebration to be coming soon! We can't wait!
