🎉 Congratulations to Josie Urban! 🎉

Josie collaborated with our library to implement her FCCLA project.

🥇Josie placed first at the State FCCLA competition in March, in Educational Programs in Action classification. This qualified her to compete at the National FCCLA competition in July.

At nationals, Josie was the National Runner-Up.
Beyond proud of Josie!!! She represented her community, school, and state in exemplary fashion. We truly appreciate her hard work and dedication! Congratulations to all! Well done!

We also started our summer reading program at the library on June 8.

Come join us each Monday June 8-July 13, from 2:30-3:30 for some fun activities, books, and treats!
The first week was filled with fun dinosaur activities. We did a dinosaur scavenger hunt, used rubbing plates to create cool dinosaur designs, did a dinosaur puzzle, and had yummy ice cream sundaes! Come next week to join in the fun!

Well… our little library needs a little love.

The Silver Creek Township Library is part of this year’s GoBigGive 🎉 and we’re raising funds to repair/replace the library doors so we can keep this special place welcoming for everyone who walks through them.

✨ Early giving starts TOMORROW (April 27) through May 6
✨ Official GoBigGive day is May 7

What an eventful morning! We had eleven children attend the Crime and Science event at the Library on April 3rd. They did investigate fingerprinting, mystery powder analysis, and decoding secret messages. Thank you to Kara Wells, the Merrick County Extension educator, for a fun filled morning!
