Our 4th graders took their learning on the road with a visit to the Calvert Marine Museum! 🦀🐚 With ancient fossils, aquatic life, and exhibits about Maryland’s maritime history, the museum brings the story of the Chesapeake Bay to life. A special thank you to our chaperones!

🎈 Happy 100th birthday, Winnie-the-Pooh!

Since A. A. Milne’s beloved book was first published on October 14, 1926, Pooh and his friends have filled generations of readers’ hearts with friendship, wonder, and a little honey. 🍯

Our Preschool and Pre-K students kicked off their first STEAM Challenge of the Year in Technology Class! 🍂
Students began by learning about STEAM, what engineers do, and the importance of teamwork! 🤝 They then sang the fun fall favorite, “Five Little Pumpkins Sitting on a Gate.” 🎶
Next, our little engineers put their creativity and problem-solving skills to the test! Using different materials, they designed and built their very own gates or fences with one goal in mind: Can you balance all five pumpkins without them falling? 🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃
Through this hands-on challenge, students explored engineering, balance, creativity, and teamwork while having lots of fall fun!
👏 Way to go, little engineers!

Hunger doesn’t wait for the holidays. While food pantries receive more attention this time of year, many have been struggling to meet our neighbors’ needs all year. The need is always great, but this year it feels greater than ever.

Our school and parish collect food every Wednesday through We Care Wednesday. Next week, we will launch an additional collection campaign to support the John Mulholland Family Foundation’s efforts to help people facing food insecurity and the working poor in Washington, DC.

When you come to Mass or weekly Adoration, please consider dropping off an item or two. Every donation is a small act of love that can make a difference. Thank you for caring for our neighbors throughout the year.
