Glick Classical Tape Library Classical music recording archive with 16,000 works by 2,700+ composers. New works are being added constantly. The GCTL is unique in its scope and philosophy.

We are a privately-run archive of classical music recordings based in Silver Spring, Maryland. Our exceptionally extensive catalog contains over 4,500 hours of western (and eastern) art music, equating to roughly 16,000 unique works of all instrumentations, styles, and subgenres by over 2,500 composers spanning the medieval period to the present day. Our emphasis has been to encompass as broad a r

ange as possible, going far beyond the mainstream repertoire of well-known composers. We are of great service to music students, musicologists, and classical enthusiasts, especially to those seeking rare and obscure works. Visiting patrons may sample recordings in our complimentary listening rooms. The GCTL also operates a non-commercial radio station, broadcasting at 90.5 FM in suburban Washington, DC and streaming online worldwide.
