The CSMC Fall 2026 Concert is scheduled for Sunday, November 8, 2026 at 4:00 pm in the afternoon (note new time) at our regular venue, the Calvary Lutheran Church, 9545 Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring MD (just inside the Beltway). All CSMC members are hereby invited to submit original compositions for performance at this concert.

Notice of intent to submit music for this concert should be received by Josh Levin by email not later than September 8, 2026 if you need us to provide musicians, by October 8, 2026 if you are providing your own musicians.

This notice should include the following information:
-the name of the piece (can be tentative);
-its approximate duration (in minutes);
-its general character;
-the musical forces required; and
-whether you plan to supply the musicians (critical).
Please note that CSMC is now accepting pieces for repeat performance that were previously premiered at a CSMC concert prior to 2017.

P.S. Remember that to be played at this concert you must have paid your 2026-2027 dues. To do so, please send a check for $30 made out to "CSMC" to our Treasurer (address available upon request)

Dear Friends,

The Spring 2026 Concert of the Composers Society of Montgomery County will be held on Sunday, May 17, 2025 at 7:00 pm EDT. The venue, as always, is the Calvary Lutheran Church, 9545 Georgia Ave, Silver Spring, MD 20910. The church is just south of the Beltway on the east side of Georgia Ave.

The concert will include compositions/arrangements by several different local composers and will include pieces composed in a variety of styles with different instrumentation.

The concert is free, but donations are encouraged. There will also be recordings of the concert for purchase. There will be a reception after the concert and composers with pieces in the program are encouraged to contribute food towards the reception.

Composers and performers - please help us publicize the concert by share information about this concert with your friends and posting about it on social media.

Dues to the Society are $25 and can be made out to CSMC, Inc. and sent to our Treasurer, Christy Smith, address available upon request (or provided to us at the concert).

Individuals with pieces in the concert are required to pay dues.
