Classroom Parent Volunteers are needed!

This is a great way to get involved and support your child's teacher.

Every year, the PTA asks room parents to support teachers by organizing PTA-funded class celebrations (Harvest party on October 31st, Valentine’s party on February 14th) and by coordinating classroom teacher appreciation gifts and a class basket for our annual Spring auction.

Join the PTA!

We have over 60 members who have signed up so far and paid their annual dues for the PTA. Thank you! Your annual dues help the PTA provide the events and services that we need to make Woodlin the kind of community we want it to be.

Annual PTA membership dues are at a suggested amount of $20 per family or $12 per individual (teacher, community member, grandparent), but we welcome you to pay what you can, with a minimum of $5 to cover our state and local fees. This means that for just $5, you can have access to the directory of our member families—so helpful for planning play dates and birthday parties. (Publishing information to the directory is a personal choice; you can always opt out.)

The Woodlin ES Open House is this Thursday, August 22nd. Here is the schedule:

9:30-10:30: Kindergarten
10:30-11:30: All students
11:30-11:45: New students who are not in Kindergarten.

Mr. Jackson will kick it off with a few words for the Kindergarteners and their families and then you are all free to check out the school and your classrooms. Kindergarteners and their families are welcome to stay past 10:30. The rest of the school and their families are welcome to stop by school at 10:30!

Teacher assignments will be going out on Wednesday so you will know which class your child will be in before the Open House!

🍕🍕 *MAMMA LUCIA DINE OUT! THURSDAY 4/25* 🍕🍕

Need a dinner plan for Thursday? Enjoy delicious pizza and fresh Italian food while supporting the PTA!

Dine-in, carry out, or order delivery from *Mamma Lucia* (1302 East West Highway) on Thursday, April 25th after 4pm and the PTA will get 15%. Just be sure to mention the Woodlin PTA when you order, either in person, or make a note in your online order. The last Mamma Lucia dine-out raised $150 to support our programming.
