We're excited to spread the next opportunity to join Team TRFB!

We will be hosting our next two-day Command-Wide Hiring Event September 25th and 26th at the Newlife Event Center (9923 Poplars Ave NE Silverdale, WA 98383) from 10AM - 3PM on both days. **Don’t forget – a limit to 2 page resumes are now in effect!

There, we'll have a hiring manager and interviewers from every division of our command! We're thrilled to talk to you about the innovative things we do at our command and the vital role we play in national defense. Our job is more than just a paycheck. If you are looking to serve your nation in a civilian capacity, come out and speak with us!

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

NBK-BANGOR TRIDENT GATE SCHEDULED CLOSURE AUGUST 13-14

Trident Main Gate and Truck Inspection will be closed to vehicle traffic for repairs on Thursday August 13 from 1930 to 0500 on Friday, August 14. Inbound and outbound vehicle traffic will need to use Trigger Gate during the closure.

On August 6, Trident Refit Facility held a Change of Command ceremony where Captain Michael Eberlein was relieved by Captain Eric Astle.

We extend our sincere gratitude to Captain Eberlein for his dedicated service and outstanding leadership. Join us in welcoming Captain Astle as he takes the helm and leads the TRFB team into its next chapter of mission excellence!

Gate Closure

Meet Nicholas Allen!
Nicholas grew up in a small town named Richfield, Utah, a town of less than 8000 people. At age 14 he moved to the PNW. Nicholas began working at PSNS as a shipfitter in 2015. After two years he then transferred to 35A as an apprentice in 2017, then received an early graduation in 2021, and within the year was promoted to shop supervisor. He supervised 35A from 2021 until 2025 and then transferred to Code 704 as the Work Integration Liaison for the 737 ERP. He has coordinated the LVA, LWLCCA and all other modernization alterations during the ERP.

Outside of work, Nicholas is an avid motorsport enthusiast. He raced competitively in Time Trials from 2022-2025, winning 7 time trials events and a west coast championship in 2024. Nichoals has participated in high performance driving in Europe and driven at Nürburgring, one of the most dangerous tracks in the world located in Germany. Today, Nicholas, has stepped back from competitive racing and is now a high performance driving instructor for 3 different organizations. He loves coaching, mentoring and helping others develop their skills on track. Aside from racing he travels with his loving wife and 3 big dogs.
