Our kindergartners have been busy learning all about the life cycle of chicks! From observing eggs to watching fluffy chicks hatch, students explored the amazing stages of growth and development through hands-on learning. Their excitement, curiosity, and wonder made this experience truly unforgettable! 🐣💛

Yesterday was our last ASB School Spirit Day of the school year, and wow — we had a lot of “characters” in the building! It was so exciting to see so many creative costumes, especially all the amazing book characters brought to life. Thank you to all of our staff and students who participated in our Spirit Days throughout the year and helped make them so much fun. Your school spirit made this year extra special!

Students in Mrs. Fleck's class enjoyed a knowledge-packed day at the Aero Museum and Atlas Technologies!

Our students dived deep into the history of aviation, explored the Junior Pilot Program, and got a firsthand look at advanced welding robotics. They got to sit in the cockpit of a small plane beautifully restored by the help of Junior Pilots. It was one of the highlights of our day! We also saw the world's only fully running Spirit of St. Louis replica.

A huge thank you to Todd Hansen, who organized this incredible trip and generously provided a donation to the museum to host our class. We are so grateful for the support and the unforgettable memories! Thank you to Sierra Hansen for providing the flight check demonstration and cockpit tour.

Our kindergarteners took some time out of their day to bond with nature today! 🌿 They explored living things around them and learned all about organisms through hands-on discovery and observation. So much curiosity, learning, and wonder in one beautiful day outdoors! ☀️

Mrs. Craw’s class enjoyed a hands‑on Robotics session with Mrs. Fleck, exploring Cubelets—magnetic robot cubes—as part of their Art Walk silent auction experience.

Aria and Owen were our “PE teacher of the day” winners from the Kids Heart Challenge fundraiser! Owen chose battleship for his students on Thursday and Aria chose the parachute for her classes on Friday! They were amazing and we had so much fun! Go Hawks! PE is awesome!!

Spring Celebration & Mother’s Day Tribute from Mrs. Fleck's Students! 🌸 The class hosted a beautiful occasion to honor their favorite women. Guests enjoyed tea and cupcakes served in custom tea cups students created in our school kiln 🧁. Students performed an original play comparing Venus and Earth. They used AI as a real-world tool to draft the script based on their NASA research, then revised it to make it their own! 🚀 Families were delighted by the performance and the ethical use of new technology. We wish all the wonderful mothers a very Happy Mother’s Day!

Our staff would like to send a huge THANK YOU to our amazing PTA and families who participated in this week’s staff appreciation week! Every day was an adventure from catching villains with our webs, playing games between co-workers and even being saved from the kryptonite. We felt the love and appreciation! We love our Hawk families!! If you want a good chuckle, zoom in on the suv side window writings... 🤣
