Chaplains provide direct CACO support, sup

port for memorials, and crisis interventions when those moments arise.

Counseling:

SECNAVINST 1730.11 details the strict confidentiality provided to Service Members, dependents and other authorized users when it comes to communications with a Chaplain. NBK Chaplains offer confidential counseling by appointment and with open door opportunities when available.

Training Opportunities:

Sailor 360: Monthly training opportunities to build moral character, toughness, and spiritual strength. Classes include but not limited to
-Immunity to Change
-Problem Solving
-Developing an Outward Mindset (Arbinger)
-The Four Lenses
-ARSENAL – Resiliency Development
-Team Building – at Kitsap Great Escape

Su***de Intervention Training:
-ASIST: 16 hour / 2 day intensive training to help Service Members provide first-aide to those with thoughts of Su***de.
-SafeTALK: A 4 hour course providing participants with the knowledge and information needed to help others in times of need.
