Since our founding in 1993, we have expanded our services beyond just providing food to encompass essential needs for the community such as housing, financial empowerment, community health, and peer support. In 2023 alone, our organization has impacted the lives of 12,433 Summit County residents which is why we call FIRC the Summit Resource Center. FIRC operates two Community Food Markets, one in Dillon and one in Breckenridge, that offer free, healthy food choices for our community. Our Summit Thrift & Treasure thrift stores will reopen within our new Sol Center building coming in Breckenridge 2025.
