What the mayor fails to add is the so called “fair offer” would in fact make many people lose money. The increase they want us to pay for insurance and other benefits isn’t matched by our raises.

When the mayor ran for re-election it was the AFSCME members that really helped him get re-elected. Now he is willing to turn his back on us when we need support.
