The City is accepting candidate nominations for the November 3, 2026, General Municipal Election.

Positions open:
• Mayor (2-year term)
• City Council District 1 (2-year term)
• City Council District 2 (4-year term)
• City Council District 4 (4-year term)

Nomination period: July 13 – August 7🗓
(Extended to August 12 for a seat if an incumbent does not file for re-election.)

Candidates for City Council Districts must reside in and be registered voters of the district they seek to represent. To find your district, visit www.SimiValley.org/FindYourDistrict.

Interested candidates are encouraged to schedule an appointment with the City Clerk’s Office by calling (805) 583-6813.

Harmony for Hunger is a new concert series to support the Simi Valley Meals on Wheels program. The series will feature performances of beloved country and Broadway favorites at the Santa Susana Performing Arts Center.

The first concert will be on Sunday, June 14, at 2:00 p.m. with "Country Queens," showcasing the talented impersonator Bethany Owen.

The second concert will be held on Sunday, August 23, at 2:00 p.m. with "Broadway Here We Come," highlighting top Broadway performers.
