✨🎄 **Santa Night on Auburn Lane** 🎄✨

Tonight was one of those evenings that reminds you exactly why Christmas is so special.

Auburn Lane was absolutely magical, and that magic starts with our neighbors. Thank you to every family who decorated, lit up your homes, and helped turn our street into something truly beautiful. Your time, effort, and creativity are what make this neighborhood feel like a true community.

A huge thank you to Santa and the Grinch for bringing the smiles, laughs, and unforgettable memories for kids (and adults) of all ages. Thank you to Polyphonix and to the Merry Carolers for filling the night with incredible music and holiday spirit, your talent truly set the tone for the evening.

We are incredibly grateful to the LDS Church and the Phoenix Ranch School for the use of their parking lots and for always being so supportive of our neighborhood and community efforts. That support never goes unnoticed.

Thank you to Bree’s Cakes for absolutely bringing it with the treats and hot chocolate, you helped keep everyone warm and happy all night long.

And finally, thank you to everyone who joined us tonight, walked the lane, shared smiles, donated toys, and chose to spend part of your evening celebrating the spirit of Christmas with us. The generosity shown through the toy donations and the kindness shared throughout the night is what this season is truly about.

Auburn Lane, you showed up with love, joy, and heart. This is Christmas. 🎄❤️

🎄 Auburn Lane Presents: Santa Night! 🎄
We’re excited to welcome our Simi Valley friends and community to join us for a magical evening of lights, music, and holiday cheer!
✨ Saturday, December 13th | 6:15–9:15 PM
Open to everyone—feel free to share and invite others!
🎶 Highlights:
• Polyphonix Choir 6:15–7:00
• Strolling Carolers 7:00–9:00
• Visit with Santa
• The Grinch will be roaming
• Hot chocolate & treats from Bree’s Cakes
• Card-making station for nursing homes
We kindly ask all visitors to please be courteous to our neighborhood—drive slowly, watch for pedestrians, and avoid blocking driveways so everyone can safely enjoy the night.
🎁 Toy Drive:
We’re collecting new, unwrapped toys for James Storehouse Charities. Please drop donations at 2355 Cottontail, located inside the Auburn Lane loop.

From all of us here in Auburn Lane, a heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for our magical Santa Night this evening. The Christmas spirit was truly alive and well, and we felt incredibly blessed to share it with our amazing community. Thanks Simi Valley for embracing the joy of the season and for helping keep this special tradition alive year after year. ❤️💚❤️💚❤️

Please join us tomorrow evening as well. Although Santa won’t be here, the Girl Scouts will be. Stop by, check out the lights, and donate as they are collecting goods for the Samaritan Center here in Simi. ❤️💚❤️💚❤️

The night following our Santa night, Sunday, Dec 15th, the Girl Scouts will be in the neighborhood hosting a donation drive for the Samaritan Center here in Simi. Such a great cause! Please consider stopping by, donating, and taking part in all the festivities they put on!

Their scavenger hunt last year was so fun and a huge hit!!! The kids loved it!!!

Another magical Santa night here at Auburn Lane! Thank you to all our neighbors for putting in so much work getting up all the decorations. Thank you to the LDS Youth Choir for coming to sing for us!! Thanks to the Royal High School jazz band for putting on just a spectacular concert for us too! Thank you to the amazing Robert Tatangelo (aka the Simi Santa) for living up to your exceptional reputation! And also to Tammy Somers for showing up as the Grinch and causing some mischief. Most of all though, thank you to the community for coming to join us this evening and sharing in so much joy and fun. It really was a wonderful evening. 🙂

If you weren’t able to make it out this evening, please feel free to join us next Saturday on the 16th. The Girl Scouts will be taking in donations for the Samaritan Center. Such a great cause and organization that provides services to those experiencing homelessness here in Simi. Please see the details as to the time and items needed in the photo.

Boo!!!

Things are starting to get spooky around here in Auburn Lane 💀👻🎃!!!

So far we’re at 23 of 35 houses decorated with more on board hopefully this weekend! As a neighborhood we’re looking forward to welcoming everyone for Halloween! If you do come, please be respectful to the homes and to the other families enjoying the festivities.

To all of our neighbors, thank you for the effort and willingness to do something so great for the community. This is such a special place to live and I’m so thankful to get to share these moments with all of you. You’re awesome, Auburn Lane!

As the lights begin to come down, I just want to thank everyone for being such a huge part of what we do as a neighborhood. Auburn Lane truly is a rare and magical place and I feel thankful for living here next to all of you.

Thank you for all your hard work this year and the dedication to sharing the holiday spirit with so many in our community. It’s a testament to who you all are as people. Great job, Auburn Lane!

It’s that time again! 🎅🏻🎄🦌

The holiday festivities have begun here at Auburn Lane! The neighborhood has been working very hard getting ready for this year and I have to say, it’s looking as beautiful as ever. We’ll be welcoming Santa on the 9th (Fri) and 17th (Sat) this year! Free photo opportunities will be available. We will also have a card table present for all the children who visit to write holiday cards to our older citizens in nursing homes around Simi that might need a little extra love and holiday cheer. We’ll have a coffee and hot cocoa truck to keep us all warm on those nights as well.

The Royal HS Choir will be there on the 9th singing carols for us and a second high school choir is in the works for the 17th. These choirs use this event to raise funds to help fund their programs. So, if you come out to enjoy the evening, please consider donating and show your appreciation for these kids, their talent, and their generosity spending a weekend night performing for all of us.

Also, please be courteous to the people who live in Auburn Lane. There will be trash cans around the neighborhood, please use them. Don’t block driveways. Stay off of lawns. Basically, please just be a good human. Easy enough 😁.

Parking is available and suggested at the LDS Church parking lot immediately to the west of the neighborhood entrance. (There will be signs) Parking is very difficult on these nights, so it is highly suggested those coming utilize the chance to walk and enjoy the lights.

Sorry this is so long. Lastly, we all hope that you all have a safe and happy holiday season. It’s a magical time and the residents of Auburn Lane are excited to share that spirit with you all!
