As a reminder, tonight’s School Board meeting is an incredibly important opportunity for our voices to be heard regarding the rising cost of our health insurance benefits and the impact it will have on classified employees and our families.
At the same time, we also want to acknowledge that many in our community may currently be affected by the Sandy Fire and the uncertainty and challenges that come with situations like these. We completely understand that some may not be able to attend tonight, and our thoughts are with everyone impacted.
For those who are able, we are encouraging as many people as possible to attend the meeting tonight — even if you can only spare a short amount of time. Your presence matters. A strong turnout shows the Board that classified employees are paying attention, standing together, and care deeply about protecting access to affordable health insurance and supporting one another as a bargaining unit.
