Big News for the Town of Simla!

We’re excited to share that the Town of Simla has been selected to receive federal Community Project Funding (FY)2027 to support critical infrastructure improvements!

These funds will be utilized to make necessary upgrades to our water system and fire hydrants, helping improve reliability, quality, and fire protection for our residents and businesses.

We appreciate the continued support for rural communities like ours and look forward to sharing updates as this project moves ahead.

Please be advised that through the end of summer, as needed dumpsters will be issued for 30 days only. Residents who are billed monthly for dumpster services are not subject to this restriction. This allows us to better manage availability for all residents and projects. If extra time is needed, a new request may be submitted following the initial period.

Public Notice: Trash Collection Schedule:

The Town of Simla would like to notify all residents and businesses of the following trash collection schedule:

* All residential trash will be picked up every Tuesday.

* Some commercial dumpsters may not be serviced until Wednesday due to heavier loads and routing capacity.

Please note that commercial trash pickup operates on a weekly schedule, and occasional delays into Wednesday are expected.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work to keep Simla clean and efficient. Thank you for your understanding.
