Last week all 3 shifts participated in our quarterly burn training. This quarters training focused on VES tactics, ground ladders, and victim removal. Thank you to Belmont Fire Department for letting us use your training grounds and to Craig Williams, Chad Myers, Justin Carter, Cameron Alley, and Kyle Traxler for helping run training. A special shout out to West Broad Apparel Company for the photos.

Yesterday C Shift Engine 65, Engine 66, Engine 67, Tower 68, Ladder 96, Rescue 65 responded to a reported Commercial Structure Fire on SE Main st. Units arrived on scene to find a 2 story Commercial Structure with smoke and fire showing from the rear of the building. Crews quickly contained and extinguished the fire to the room of origin. No injuries were reported.

Thirty of our members received Life Saving Awards from Greenville County for cardiac arrest saves in 2025, with many of them being recognized for multiple saves. We are extremely proud of the outstanding commitment and dedication displayed by our members. Their efforts truly make a significant impact in our community. Our firefighters work diligently year-round to maintain the highest standards during emergency situations.
