Bethel Elementary School is located in Simpsonville, SC, serving approximately 900 students in kindergarten through fifth grade. We are an award winning school with a history of academic excellence. In recent years, Bethel has received awards for Palmetto’s Finest, Palmetto Gold, Red Carpet, SCPTA Parent Involvement School of Excellence, and the Greenville County Elementary Healthy School of the Y

All students received a summer reading log, so be sure to check your child’s folder. If you need another copy, see the link in the comments to print one at home.

Color in one book for every picture book you read this summer. Reading chapter books? Color in one book for each chapter you finish. Be sure to check out the back page for fun summer reading ideas! Audiobooks and eBooks count too!

A parent or grown-up must sign the reading log before it is turned in. Reading logs are due to the library by Friday, August 14th. Students who turn in a signed log will get to pick a free book during library time and be entered into a drawing for a Kona Ice Party! Happy Summer Reading!

Our Bethel Elementary teachers hit a homerun! ⭐️⚾️📚

After winning the Reading All Stars Challenge, our staff enjoyed an amazing evening in the suite at the Greenville Drive game celebrating all of their hard work and dedication to growing readers!

And the best part? Our server and cameraman for the night were former Cardinal students! ❤️ Seeing our former students thriving always makes us proud.

Great baseball, great company, and lots of Cardinal pride! ❤️🖤

In Putting Through the Pages, IMA students integrated science, reading, and the arts in a culminating transformation of the classroom.

They engineered mini golf courses and designed the theme for each one based on their class read-aloud novels for the year. Students also dressed up and played the parts of the book characters.
