I am pro-choice but I deeply understand the moral implications that surround this personal decision. I believe that there must be a place for abortion in our society but there should also be accountability for those that want to habitually abuse that choice. The tragic death of over 18,000 souls in Kentucky since the start COVID-19 pandemic proved to us all that it is more important than ever to h
ave access to proper safe and timely medical treatment. I also believe in making sure our citizens have access to more choices of healthy foods and healthier lifestyles. I believe in a strong job market full of opportunity and growth for all Kentuckians. Built on an economy that understands the value and consequences associated with legacy fossil fuels but is willing to embrace the future of "clean" initiatives. I believe in equal opportunity and equal pay for all regardless of race, religion, age, sexual preference, gender, or disability. I believe in the investment of technology and improving support and resources for small businesses. I believe in strong affordable education that is accessible to all citizens which can be achieved by making sure everyone in Shelby County has access to high-speed internet. I believe in protecting our grade schools K-12 from unnecessary exposure to sexual content; and making sure that accurate history and proven scientific knowledge is shared correctly. I am strongly in favor of strengthening our public school systems and improving the standards of academics for students in our state. Followed by establishing more scholarships and funding opportunities for students looking to obtain higher education or skills that would later be rewarded back into Kentucky's economy. I believe in authorized law enforcement and their faithful duty to the job they perform. Although defunding the police is extreme, there still should be accountability to make sure that the police protect and serve the civilian population. Because without safe governance of the law, there would be chaos.
