Democrats and Republicans work for their parties, by extension the entities that fund their parties. You can not elect even the most well intentioned Republican or Democrat without understanding that they will become part of the D.C. machine. That's why Reeside for Congress and Kasie, South Carolina / Candidate for US Senate have my support. The Libertarian Party does not have the entrenched interests in Washington like the other two parties. If you elect a Libertarian, you're electing that person, not a representative for the corporations known as the RNC and DNC.

End Certificate of Need Laws. Allow for the formation of mutual aid organizations and fraternal orders to provide health coverage and exclude them from reserve requirements. End health insurance mandates the put these companies in between providers and consumers. At the top of the list, dismantle the federal government's role in healthcare. From both a regulatory perspective, as well as its role as a purchaser or provider.
