Our upper elementary students had the honor of having the RPAR staff visit our elementary P.E. classes today to conduct engaging soccer lessons. We moved through various rotations, focusing on essential skills such as dribbling, ball control, and striking the soccer ball. Mr. Marc and Mr. Ethan came fully prepared to share their expertise with our students about the fundamentals of the sport, and some of the students even had the chance to practice their goalie skills. To wrap up the session, the classes competed in a game against one another! It was clear that learning was truly present, and a great amount of fun was had by all. Ultimately, the fifth-grade boys reigned victorious, as did the fourth-grade girls, though everyone played with great spirit. Our third through fifth graders were incredibly thankful for the opportunity to learn and practice these soccer skills in the multipurpose gym today. A huge thank you goes out to Mr. Marc and Mr. Ethan from Ruston Parks and Recreation for helping us grow athletically and providing such an enthusiastic experience for our students!β½οΈπ₯
