We are aware of an outage affecting Eubanks, Bissic, Walnut Creek and surrounding areas. The cause at this time is unknown, although we do suspect lightning is a factor. We are looking into the issue so that it can be fixed ASAP. At this time, the phones and internet are down at the office. Any further updates will be posted to our page. Please do not call the emergency number for status updates. That will only cause further delays.

Water System Update -

As of Friday at approximately 6:00 PM, we are actively working to locate a main line leak affecting service in the Goose Creek area, including Highways 151, 563, 146, 545, and 544 and the areas between.
Due to recent freezing temperatures followed by ice melt, ground conditions are extremely saturated and swamp-like, making it difficult to distinguish melted ice from water related to a main line break.
These conditions are also limiting safe access for equipment needed to assess and repair the issue.

At this time, we are unable to provide an estimated repair time until the leak is located and conditions allow safe access.

📌If you visually observe running water, standing water that is actively increasing, or a clear break, please report it to us.

📌Please do not call emergency lines for status updates, as this delays active response efforts.

Additional updates will be posted here as soon as new information becomes available.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation.

We are aware that we have several people without water, we know there is a leak somewhere, we are having a hard time locating it with the ice, and water from melting ice. It’s near impossible to locate in these conditions. When there is an update, it will be posted here.

We are aware that some of our customers have no water or very low pressure. The leak was repaired yesterday and with everyone checking the pressure and dripping faucets, the pressure cannot build back up. Please keep the faucets off so the pressure can build up and everyone can get water back. We are also experiencing high call volume and cannot get them all answered. We are doing all we can to get water back to everyone. The weather coming this weekend could cause more issues, we ask that everyone makes sure their lines are insulated so that we don't lose pressure due to everyone dripping faucets. Before calling the emergency number, make sure you have checked you meter to rule out a leak on your side of the meter. Thank you for your understanding!

We have been made aware that there are issues for some people on our water system having low pressure or very little water at all. We are in the process of trying to locate the issue and get it taken care of. The office is closed today as I’m traveling back from South Louisiana, but we will be open tomorrow at 10 AM.

7/12/25 7:50pm UPDATE: our guy worked some magic and the well is pumping. Everyone should be back in service very soon!!

We are aware of the issue with low pressure or no water. The original issue was the power surged and tripped the generator off. Once power came back, Claiborne electric sent a truck because there was no power at the well still. They went to the transformer and did something causing the brand new equipment to blow out. We are waiting on someone we had to call to come fix it. We have no estimate on the timeline at this moment of it being restored. We are doing everything in our power to get it back ASAP.

7/10/25 5:00pm It is repaired and now it has to pressure up. That time frame will depend on usage. If everyone keeps turning the taps on, it will take a lot longer than it would otherwise.

7/10/25 12:38pm UPDATE: Thee repairs are complete and everything is being put back together. Depending on how long it takes to build pressure and volume everyone should have water soon. Thank you for your patience

7/9/25 8:35PM UPDATE: We are trying to keep everyone informed and updated. Today’s scattered storms slowed progress. Due to the equipment being used to make the repairs cannot be operated when there is lightning in the vicinity. If everyone on the system conserved and only used what was absolutely necessary, no one would be without water. We can send alerts, we can post here, but not everyone is seeing these alerts. I have had several calls about sprinklers still in use and people leaving their faucets open waiting on it to come back on. This is keeping pressure down and causing others to have no water. Please keep this in mind. We cannot tell anyone how to use or not to use their faucets. We can only advise. We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused, but keep in mind some things are even out of our control.

We have an issue with one of our wells and it may take a few days to repair. We ask that you keep usage down to absolute necessity to allow the other wells to catch up. Please do not water yards, flower beds or fill up pools until we get pressure back up. This is the time of year everyone has higher than normal consumption, so please try to conserve.

We are aware of loss of water on 146 near Duggan rd. We do not know the cause, but it is being looked into now.

04/05/2025

We are currently looking for the cause of low pressure around the 563/mccullin rd area. We have reports of low pressure right now after a possible lightning strike. Due to the storms coming through we do not know how long it will take to repair. Please do not call the emergency number unless you see the leak. Will update as we get more information.
