As of 2:48pm today all issues are resolved that we know of, and everyone should have water. If you do not have water at all, let us know. You can post here or call the emergency number, (318)278-5371. This number is for reporting leaks and outages. Please don’t use it for status updates or bill related issues. We understand how frustrating it is when situations like this come up. Please keep in mind when there is a leak, it takes time to locate it and repair it. We respond to issues as fast as we can and we don’t want anyone to go without water at all, and definitely not for hours or even days. So please think before you reach out negatively.

4pm update- leak is fixed, electrical issue at the well is still being resolved. Please only use what is necessary to allow pressure to build back up. Do not try to flush any lines until everyone is back to normal.

Update- power is out at the office. Phones won’t work until it’s back up. Any questions should be posted here.

Wednesday June 24, 2026 10:52am update-
We are still waiting on the leak to be repaired, another issue with the electrical at one of the wells has also been discovered. This is due to the storm that came through last night. As of right now, there is not an estimate on how long repairs will take. We will reach out as updates become available. Again, please do not call the emergency number unless you see a leak that you think may not have been reported. Thank you for your continued patience.

The power issue was resolved a few hours ago. Now we have a leak that has been found on 563. We cannot repair it until tomorrow morning. Will post updates as I get them here. Please do not call the emergency number for status updates. That number is only to report leaks.

We are aware of the outages this morning. There is a power issue with one of our wells that Claiborne electric will be repairing sometime today. Any further updates will be posted here.

We are aware of an outage affecting Eubanks, Bissic, Walnut Creek and surrounding areas. The cause at this time is unknown, although we do suspect lightning is a factor. We are looking into the issue so that it can be fixed ASAP. At this time, the phones and internet are down at the office. Any further updates will be posted to our page. Please do not call the emergency number for status updates. That will only cause further delays.

Water System Update -

As of Friday at approximately 6:00 PM, we are actively working to locate a main line leak affecting service in the Goose Creek area, including Highways 151, 563, 146, 545, and 544 and the areas between.
Due to recent freezing temperatures followed by ice melt, ground conditions are extremely saturated and swamp-like, making it difficult to distinguish melted ice from water related to a main line break.
These conditions are also limiting safe access for equipment needed to assess and repair the issue.

At this time, we are unable to provide an estimated repair time until the leak is located and conditions allow safe access.

📌If you visually observe running water, standing water that is actively increasing, or a clear break, please report it to us.

We are aware that we have several people without water, we know there is a leak somewhere, we are having a hard time locating it with the ice, and water from melting ice. It’s near impossible to locate in these conditions. When there is an update, it will be posted here.

We are aware that some of our customers have no water or very low pressure. The leak was repaired yesterday and with everyone checking the pressure and dripping faucets, the pressure cannot build back up. Please keep the faucets off so the pressure can build up and everyone can get water back. We are also experiencing high call volume and cannot get them all answered. We are doing all we can to get water back to everyone. The weather coming this weekend could cause more issues, we ask that everyone makes sure their lines are insulated so that we don't lose pressure due to everyone dripping faucets. Before calling the emergency number, make sure you have checked you meter to rule out a leak on your side of the meter. Thank you for your understanding!
