🍂 It’s that time of year again, and we're brining back LHT Do's & Don'ts for leaf collection 🍁
As leaf collection gets underway throughout the Township, here’s your yearly reminder on how to make collection safe and efficient:
✔️ Place leaves along the curb in front of your house.
✔️ Keep piles within 3–4 feet of the curb so our equipment can reach them.
❌ No cars parked on or near leaf piles. Hot exhaust can create a fire hazard.
❌ Leaf piles containing debris will not be collected.
🍃 The leaf machine is for leaves only — please keep out:
• Grass clippings
• Soil, plants, or garden debris
• Stones, bricks, or trash
• Branches
• Animal waste
• Pumpkins 🎃
🚫 The Road Crew cannot collect piles with a vehicle parked directly in front of or behind them.
🌫️ And one last reminder: dust from the leaf collection truck is unfortunately out of the crew’s control. We appreciate your patience!
