SCHOOL BUS SAFETY REMINDER 🚌

Our Sinking Spring community is part of Pennsylvania's School Bus Safety Program, which uses camera technology on school buses to protect students getting on and off their bus.

Here's what you need to know:
πŸ“· School buses are equipped with cameras that automatically detect vehicles that illegally pass a stopped bus with flashing red lights.

πŸ’° A first-time violation is a CIVIL offense with a $300 fine - no points are added to your license.

⚠️ In 2024, over 76,000 violations were issued statewide. Every day, nearly 1.4 million Pennsylvania students rely on school buses to get to and from school safely. Please slow down and stop for the bus.

If you received a Notice of Violation or have questions about the program, visit the official program website for full details, FAQs, and payment/contest options:
πŸ‘‰ https://buspatrol.com/pennsylvania/

You can also call the AlertBus support line at 1-800-852-7741 (Mon–Fri, 8AM–5PM) or visit www.alertbus.com to view evidence or pay online.

Let's all do our part to keep our kids safe. πŸ™

Across the state, over 70 districts are using BusPatrol technology to make roads safer for students, with over 5,000 school buses equipped with advanced safety technology.
