Grove Township A page to keep people informed of upcoming events in the Township The creeks are part of the West Branch Susquehanna River watershed.

Grove Township is in eastern Cameron County and is bordered by Potter County to the northeast and north, Clinton County to the east and southeast, and Gibson and Lumber Townships to the west. According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 73.9 square miles (191.5 km2), of which 73.2 square miles (189.5 km2) is land and 0.77 square miles (2.0 km2), or 1.03%, is water

.[1] The First Fork Sinnemahoning Creek flows north to south through the township, joining Sinnemahoning Creek near the southern end of the township.

Grove Township wishes to inform residents and visitors of the amenities offered at our park located on Wykoff Run Road. Over the past year, we have completed several upgrades, including new rubber mulch around playground equipment, installation of new swings, and replacement of boards on the merry-go-round. Routine maintenance was performed on the building and restrooms as well. The softball field remains available for games of softball or baseball, and the fully enclosed fence provides a safe area for dogs to exercise. The park and its facilities are open for community use. For private event reservations, please contact the office at 814-546-2606; a nominal fee applies.

Spring Large item clean-up day for Grove Township will be held May 2nd, 2026, 9-4. This is when you can bring that old furniture and bed mattress to dispose of them. There is also a metal dumpster available all the time for scrap metal.

Grove Township wishes to inform the public of ongoing efforts to enhance Barclay Recreation Park, located on Wykoff Run Road in Sinnamahoning, PA. Recent improvements include additional playground equipment such as new swings, new rubber mulch, as well as upgraded restroom facilities featuring enhanced amenities and improved cleanliness. Due to minimal usage and deterioration caused by weather over the years, the softball dugouts were removed during the summer. The fenced ballpark has been repurposed and now serves as a dog park, which is open to the community. To ensure a safe and pleasant environment, we kindly request adherence to the following guidelines:
• Ensure your dog’s vaccinations are up to date.
• Always have a leash readily available.
• Do not bring food or treats into the park.
• Consider using the playground area for small children rather than the dog park.
• Clean up after your dog at all times.
• Make sure your dog is wearing a proper collar and identification.
• Follow all posted regulations.
• Supervise your dog and keep them within sight.
• Maintain control of your dog at all times.
• Refrain from bringing aggressive dogs, sick dogs, or females in heat.
• Show consideration to other dog owners.
The park is available for day use, and facilities can be rented for large family gatherings or events. For rental inquiries, please contact the office at 814-546-2606.

This is an opportunity for you to dispose of large items around the camp. We will accept old furniture, mattresses, box springs, and similar items. A $25.00 donation is requested for any refrigerators dropped off. Additionally, old cook stoves, lawn mowers, and other scrap metal will be accepted.

Please note that we will not accept hazardous waste, televisions, computers, tires, or other car parts.

ATTENTION GROVE TOWNSHIP

GROVE TOWNSHIP CLEAN UP DAY !!

On OCTOBER 12, 2024 is the day to get rid of those large items that are laying around at your resident or camp in Grove Township. Bring it to the Township Building and the gentlemen will be glad to help you unload it. If you bring a refrigerator, we ask for a $25.00 donation due to the freon that is in them.
We will not accept tires, computers, tv's or hazardous materials. That stuff will have to be taken to the correct disposal locations.
