Similar to the Prairie Grass Film Challenge, the goal of the Siouxland Inspirational Short Film Festival is to showcase short films that are inspiring, heartwarming, thought-provoking, family-friendly and entertaining.

Categories are available for veteran filmmakers and students. Submit your films through Film Freeway and you will find our submission fees to be very cheap. Early bird video submissions start March 15th.

The third-annual Siouxland Inspirational & Historical Short Film Festival will be screened at the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center in Sioux City, Iowa on Sunday, Oct. 30, 2022.

Our film festival seeks to be an alternative to the Hollywood s*x, violence and immorality permeating much of the movie industry. We are looking for positive films with highly-moral characters, who are involved in plots exhibiting traditional family values. English-spoken, clean-language short films are desired.
