It's THANKFUL THURSDAY 😊❤️🥰! Thank you, KTIV News 4 for hosting our English Language Learning students on a recent field trip. They loved learning new "TV terms" AND hearing about the work of your talented team! 🎥📸📺

📝 A note from Barb Spaulding, ELL teacher: Our informative visit to KTIV on Signal Hill was led by Katie Copple, anchor, and Elizabeth Breen, forecaster and creative services expert. We were also welcomed by Bridget Breen, station manager, and met reporter Taylor Deckert plus several behind-the-scenes staff. The screen room and also the studio we see on set were interesting to all of us--including interaction at the “green wall: with meteorologist Owen Basselman (far right in the group photo). We learned a lot about digital content and planning and saw how new space is being created now for that production. It was also fun to see an outdoor grilling segment being filmed for later airing. What a great day! 🌟
