AI is becoming a bigger part of how young people seek answers, including questions about their mental health. While it can be useful for general information, AI can provide inaccurate or unsafe advice and cannot replace the trust and connection built with a licensed mental health professional.

Start the conversation. Ask your child how they're using AI and remind them that when life feels overwhelming, it's always okay to turn to a trusted adult or therapist for support.
~~~
La inteligencia artificial está cobrando cada vez más importancia en la forma en que los jóvenes buscan respuestas, incluidas las preguntas sobre su salud mental. Aunque puede resultar útil para obtener información general, la inteligencia artificial puede ofrecer consejos inexactos o peligrosos y no puede sustituir la confianza y la relación que se establece con un profesional de la salud mental titulado.
Inicia la conversación. Pregunta a tu hijo cómo utiliza la inteligencia artificial (IA) y recuérdale que, cuando la vida le resulte abrumadora, siempre puede acudir a un adulto de confianza o a un terapeuta en busca de apoyo.
