** UPDATE ON LOCATION FOR SATURDAY'S DOLLY DASH **

With rain in the forecast for Saturday morning, United Way of Siouxland's Dolly Dash 5K Fun Walk/Run will be moving inside to the Southern Hills Mall !

Please park at the AMC Theatre entrance and make your way to Center Court for check-in starting at 10 a.m., with the 5K beginning at 11 a.m.

You may register at the door if you have not already preregistered!

See you Saturday at Southern Hills Mall !

All Le Mars and Plymouth County organizations are welcome to apply and are invited to attend the required training for the online process.

This year’s training session will take place at noon on Wednesday, March 11 at the Le Mars Police Training Center, 205 5th Ave. NW

Congratulations to Makenzie Lang, of Wells Enterprises Inc., on being the recipient of the Paul Olson Outstanding Volunteer of the Year Award!

Makenzie received the award Thursday night during the Le Mars Chamber Banquet Annual Dinner. Kyan Ludwig and Peggy Sitzmann, chair and vice-chair of the Le Mars United Way Board of Directors, presented her with the award.

The award is named in honor of Paul “Ole” Olson, who was instrumental in launching the Le Mars United Way. Individuals who emulate Olson and his mission of volunteering and community service are nominated and selected by the Le Mars United Way Board.

The Le Mars United Way will soon open the application process for local agencies interested in receiving funding.

All Le Mars and Plymouth County organizations are welcome to apply and are invited to attend the required training for the online process.
