Rosa Parks students were part of this video. They are now big first graders! We are very proud of them ❤️

It’s finally here! The first day of the 2026-27 school year is TOMORROW (August 27th), and we couldn’t be more excited!

We’re a little in our feelings today (in a good way) as the first day of school always brings so many emotions. Maybe you are sending your child to kindergarten for the very first time. Maybe you’re sending your senior off for their LAST day of high school. Or maybe you are somewhere in between and wondering how the time goes so fast!

Wherever your family is on this journey, we are so grateful to have your student as part of the Sioux Falls Public Schools.

Take a moment to watch these adorable “Kindergrads” from last school year reflect on their futures. You might just see a little bit of your own student in them too!

Did I mention the lunch crew is phenomenal at Rosa Parks! They have fed over 500 kids a hot lunch each day and still managed to create this video😊❤️🖤
