Did you know you can help scientists collect valuable data right from your own backyard? 🌼🦋🐝

Join us for How to Become a Citizen Scientist on Friday, June 5, from 1:00–2:30 PM at The Outdoor Campus–Sioux Falls! Learn how everyday people contribute to conservation efforts, explore apps that help identify and document pollinators, wildlife, and plants, and discover simple ways to get involved.

Bring your mobile device if you'd like to follow along, and be prepared to spend time both indoors and outdoors. All ages welcome (youth must attend with an adult).

Happening tonight in Salem!

Do you have questions about the animal identification requirements for exhibiting a sheep or goat in the South Dakota State Fair 4-H Shows?

Consider attending one of the three workshops offered this May! These workshops will cover:
🐐Sheep and Goat Identification Requirements (including RFID tags)
🧬Proper DNA hair sample collection
📝YLL activity

There are three different dates and locations for these workshops, no pre-registration or fee to attend!
📍May 21 at 6:00 pm at the Brown County Fairgrounds Aberdeen
📍May 26 at 6:00 pm at the McCook County Fairgrounds in Salem
📍May 28 at 6:00 pm at the SDSU Animal Science Arena in Brookings

A LIMITED number of Q-Flex Sheep/Goat RFID tags and Allflex 982 RFID tags will be available for purchase for $5/tag.
