SURPRISE! We have TWO musicals to announce!

We kicked off tonight’s Open House with some BIG news: EFA+ is putting on two amazing productions this year!

🐾 First up: Our 3rd graders will take the stage for 101 Dalmatians KIDS on November 17! 🐶

🌲 Then this spring: Our 4th & 5th graders will perform Into the Woods JR. on April 2 & 3! ✨

We are SO excited to launch our Eugene Field A+ Elementary Shirt Sponsorship Program! 🎨❤️

Each year, we want every student at EFA+ to feel a strong sense of school spirit and belonging. With the support of local businesses, we can provide a custom EFA+ shirt to EVERY student in our school while also raising funds to support our students, staff, and programs!

Last year, we were incredibly fortunate to partner with some amazing local businesses who helped make this possible. This year, we’re hoping to grow that community even more! 🙌

✨ What does a sponsorship look like?
Sponsors will have their business name or logo featured on the back of our school shirts, which will be worn by students throughout the school year. Your support makes a direct impact on our school while giving us an opportunity to proudly support the businesses that support EFA+!

🏫 Are you a local business owner—or know a business that might be interested? We would love to partner with you!

📅 Sponsor commitments are needed by August 14 so we can get shirts ordered for all of our students.

📚✨ Mark Your Calendars, EFA+ Families! ✨📚

The new school year is right around the corner, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back! Here are a few important dates and reminders to get you ready:

🏫 OPEN HOUSE — August 25 | 4:00–6:00 PM

Stop by anytime between 4:00 and 6:00 to visit your child’s classroom and meet their teacher!

While you’re here, feel free to explore the school and stop in to say hello to our arts/specials teachers and additional services staff. Our office will also be open if you have questions or need to drop off paperwork.

🎒 FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL — August 27

The first day of the new school year is Thursday, August 27!

☀️ Breakfast begins at 7:30 AM for students who need it.
🚗 Regular student drop-off begins at 7:45 AM.
🔔 The instructional day officially begins at 8:00 AM.
🏠 Dismissal is at 2:45 PM.

More information about the start of the school year will be shared in a newsletter closer to Open House.

EFA+ student Ophelia Squyer made us incredibly proud by performing the National Anthem at the Canaries game! 🎤🇺🇸

Stepping in front of a crowd to sing takes tremendous courage, confidence, and talent, and Opie absolutely rose to the occasion. We are so proud to see her sharing her gifts and representing EFA+ so well. Way to go, Opie! 👏💙
