Family caregiving is essential in giving older adults in rural communities the ability to age in place. LSS Staff Jacque Johnson and Michelle Madsen were joined by Springfield, SD area residents Scott Kostal and Gina Johnson in Washington, DC this week to advocate Congressional members to support family caregivers and older adults.

LSS is proud to support Scott and Gina in the care journey of their 88 and 92 year old loved ones through the work of the LSS Older Adult Resource Network - OARN, which is supported by Lutheran Services in America.
