The same monarch butterflies you see fluttering through Sioux Falls each fall embark on an extraordinary 2,000-mile journey to central Mexico. Until 1975, this remarkable migration across three countries remained one of nature’s greatest mysteries. Wright will be joined by Leigh Spencer, Education & Conservation Director for Sioux Falls Zoo & Aquarium, to discuss butterfly conservation work happening in Sioux Falls and South Dakota.
