GUEST ANNOUNCEMENT - SPENCER WILDING
Spencer Lee Wilding (born 26 July 1972), is a Welsh actor and special creature performer in the UK. He is from St Asaph (Llanelwy in Welsh) in North Wales. For those of you that do not know Spencer he is the most amazing guests you could ever meet and spends quality time with all the fans, such a pleasure every time.
He also had success as a professional kickboxer, and professional undefeated cruiser weight boxer. He is known for his interpretation of strong and imposing characters, often using prosthetics and makeup.
He has appeared in films and series like Doctor Who, Game of Thrones, the saga Harry Potter, Wrath of the Titans (2012), Guardians of the Galaxy (2014), and Victor Frankenstein (2015). He played a
Vogon soldier in the Creature Shop-effects film The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
Wilding made his film debut as the werewolf form of Remus Lupin in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. He later stunt doubled for Benicio del Toro's werewolf scenes in The Wolfman, played the minotaur in Wrath of the Titans, a mean blue alien guard in Guardians of the Galaxy, and the monster Prometheus in Victor Frankenstein, as well as a white walker on Game of Thrones and various monsters on Doctor Who. He more recently played the part of Luca Brasi in Men in Black: International.
Outside of prosthetics and suits, Wilding appeared in Batman Begins (a League of Shadows warrior), Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, and Green Street 2: Never Back Down and did stunt work on Green Lantern and in the 2019 film Fast and Furious Presents: Hobbs and Shaw.
In 2016, Wilding was cast as one of two actors playing Darth Vader (previously played by David Prowse) in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016). Wilding has three roles in common with David Prowse: 1. Prowse played Frankenstein's Monster in Casino Royale (1967), The Horror of Frankenstein (1970) and Frankenstein and the Monster from Hell (1974) while Wilding played him in Victor Frankenstein (2015). 2. Prowse played the Minotaur in Doctor Who: The Time Monster: Episode Five (1972) and Doctor Who: The Time Monster: Episode Six (1972) while Wilding played it in Wrath of the Titans (2012) and 3. Prowse played Darth Vader in Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977), Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back (1980) and Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi (1983) while Wilding played him in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016).
