What you think about conservation matters, and now you have a chance to really make an impact. The link above is for a survey happening throughout the entire state to give critical information that will guide what will be our focus for years to come. Each response goes to the county it is about, and that information is used when creating both short-term and long-term conservation goals. These goals influence multiple aspects of implementing environmental stewardship and can have significant impacts on what areas get funded. So we ask you now to please be like the Lorax and speak for the trees...or rivers, or animals, or let us know if you see erosion concerns, but please just fill out the survey.

This week, let's celebrate moths!

These insect beauties have been given a bad rap over the years as being pests, but did you know less than 1% of the moth species worldwide are fabric eaters? Also, some of the "butterflies" you love to see are actually moths flying around, and you didn't even know it. There is a lot to learn about these little guys and a great place to start is by checking out the information attached below. πŸ¦‹πŸ˜
