Our Sioux Falls Housing and Affordable Housing Solutions staff had the opportunity to attend this great training opportunity focused on the New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) Program in New Orleans.

With the growing need for affordable housing, it’s important to stay informed about innovative financing strategies, funding opportunities, and development approaches that help make affordable housing projects possible.

We’re grateful for opportunities like this to learn from industry experts, connect with community development professionals, and bring back valuable knowledge that supports our mission of creating and expanding affordable housing opportunities in our community.

Together, we’re working toward a stronger Sioux Falls.

Some of our FSS staff are in Chicago attending the National FSS Conference!

A big thank you to HUD and Compass Working Capital for providing valuable resources, learning opportunities, and opportunities to connect and network with others who share our mission.

Day 1 is in the books! We’re excited to learn more, build connections, and bring back new ideas to better serve our residents. Can’t wait to see what the rest of the conference has in store!

And while in Chicago, you HAVE to enjoy some Chicago-style deep-dish pizza for supper! A little taste of Chicago after a great day of learning and networking. Yum!

We had a great experience at the South Dakota Multi-Housing Association State Convention! It was a wonderful opportunity to collaborate, share ideas, and gain valuable information that we can bring back to our work and community. We’re grateful for the connections made and the knowledge shared, and we’re already looking forward to next year!
