We want to thank three BDHH guests, Lonnie, Conroy, and Randy, for participating in an open discussion at the 24 Hours on 8th Street documentary. Each has stories to tell and is at a different stage of life. They spoke honestly and openly in a room of strangers. Thank you to each of them!!!!!❤️

We had some amazing help on Friday! A wonderful group of freshmen from Augustana University did an amazing job at Bishop Dudley as well as our Center for Families! They got a tour and then got to work cleaning and preparing our snack for the evening 👏

We had a wonderful turnout for the premier of ‘24 Hours on 8th Street’! Thank you to the State Theatre for hosting such a meaningful event and giving us the opportunity to raise money for our guests. We also want to thank our board of directors, staff, and everyone who was involved with this project. We are so grateful to all who came. You are helping us make a difference in our community! ❤️

We love our youth groups! On Friday, we had a wonderful group from Watertown with us for the afternoon. They were beyond helpful and we are so appreciative for all their hard work! ✨🩷

Our staff got to spend their Friday afternoon bowling! 🎳 Thank you to Suburban Lanes for providing a great space for us to relax and have fun. We are so grateful for all our staff at the Bishop Dudley Hospitality House. They work hard to keep BDHH what it is! And thank you to our wonderful volunteers for covering while we were gone!

Movie Night!! Please join BDHH at the State Theater on Friday, August 21, at 6:30 PM for a movie premiere. "24 Hours on 8th Street" is a documentary following two men who spend 24 hours on 8th Street exploring the lives of the homeless and interviewing community leaders and frontline workers addressing the problem. Tickets are $20, and all ticket sales go to BDHH. Following the showing, filmmakers and BDHH staff will be available for a Q&A. Please join us for a great night.

THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! It was a great night with the best food, the best drinks, and the best people! Thank you to the Catholic Community Foundation for Eastern South Dakota for putting on this event and Avera for hosting! We cannot thank enough the gracious people who worked behind the scenes for MONTHS to make it possible, and all the volunteers who were there the day of. The food was great, the drinks were fantastic, and all guests were so nice! Thank you to everyone who showed up for the Bishop Dudley Hospitality House!
