Burnett County 4-H Burnett County 4-H is a Youth Organization for kids in grades K-13. In 4-H Youth get to pursue the interests through a variety of different project areas.

Burnett County 4-H offers a lot of opportunities for youth in the Community. From contests like the Cultural Arts Festival to the Foods and Clothing Revue, as well as educational opportunities like leadership training, project workshops, day camps and trips. Plus many more events and activities such as:

Before we know it the air will be crisp and the leaves will turn beautiful colors then fall to the ground, kids will be in school, and 4-H Project Day will be happening. Wait, what?

Burnett County 4-H Project Day will be Saturday, November 14th at the Grantsburg Community Center. We are currently seeking amazing presenters to volunteer their time to share their passions/hobbies/interests with youth.

Events: Hippology, Horse Bowl, Speaking and Demonstration, Arts, Creative Communication, Photography, Team Problems, and Model Horse

Registration Deadline: April 1, 2026

Youth Unable to Join? If youth are unable to attend Education Days, they may still be able to participate in the Art, Creative Communications, and Photography contests. You will register for those competitions and items can be brought by other county members, or families can take advantage of two drop off sites. Families can drop off their projects at the Ozaukee County Extension office or the Adams County Extension office and a volunteer will bring them to the contest. After the contest is done, the volunteers will return the projects to the respective Extension office for the youth to retrieve. Please have the projects to the Extension office no later than April 28. Also, please include a contact phone number with your projects. All efforts will be made to transport items with care, and keep in mind, the volunteers transporting the items and Extension offices are not responsible for damaged or lost items.
