Siren Fire Department is proud to stand behind one of our own, **Jeff Kline**, a longtime member of our department and an important part of our fire family.

It’s that time of year again! For the entire month of September, we’re bringing back Mustaches for Maude, but this year we are rallying around Jeff Kline, a longtime member of our community, local locksmith, and dedicated volunteer firefighter with the Siren Fire Department. 🥸❤️

Jeff shares:
“In April 2026, I was diagnosed with Stage 3 throat cancer. I started receiving chemo and radiation treatments in the middle of May. The pain from the treatments was unbearable and forced me to temporarily close my business, creating a financial hardship for my family. I spent most of July in the hospital and required a feeding tube because I was unable to eat or drink. There have been many bumps in the road, but I am now just over a month out from treatment. I’m still working to regain my strength and energy and learn to eat and drink again—but I’m still fighting.”

Jeff has spent years serving others. As a third-generation locksmith and a member of the Siren Fire Department for nearly 17 years, he has always stepped up when his community needed him. Now it’s our turn to show up for him.

❤️‍🔥 National Volunteer Firefighter Day ❤️‍🔥

Today we celebrate the men and women who choose to volunteer — not because they have to, but because they care.

When the tones drop, our volunteers leave behind dinner, family time, sleep, work, and whatever else they may be doing to answer the call. They train, respond, serve, and stand ready 24/7 to help their neighbors when they need it most. 🚒

To our Siren Fire Department volunteers past and present: thank you for your time, your sacrifice, your dedication, and your willingness to serve. We are proud to have each and every one of you on our team.

A special thank you to the families and employers who support our volunteers and make it possible for them to serve.

🔥 Training Night with WITC! 🧗‍♂️🌲

Tonight, Siren Fire Department had the opportunity to participate in treestand rescue training with WITC. Our members worked through hands-on scenarios and techniques designed to safely rescue individuals who may become stranded or injured while hunting from a treestand.

Training like this helps us stay prepared for the unique situations we may encounter in our community and ensures our members have the skills and confidence needed when seconds matter.

A big thank you to WITC for working with us and providing this valuable training! 👨‍🚒🚒

We are excited to announce our annual fundraiser on:

📍 **Zhashagins Event Center**
🕓 Doors open at **4:00 PM**
🎟️ **$150 per ticket for two people**

Your ticket includes dinner, drinks until 9 PM, open bar, and chances to win **cash prizes, guns, and other great prizes!**

(If you cannot attend, someone else may attend in your place.)

Siren Fire Department proudly stands with the Eau Claire Fire Department as they honor the life and sacrifice of their fallen brother, Bryce Jungbluth. The fire service is built on courage, commitment, and family, and the loss of one of our own is felt by firefighters everywhere. We extend our deepest condolences and unwavering support to Bryce's family, his fellow firefighters, and the entire Eau Claire community. May they find strength in one another as they remember a hero who gave so much in service to others.
