Door County Tourism Zone Commission was established in May of 2007 to generate money for a broad marketing campaign intended to gain national and regional exposure to stimulate and benefit the local economy. MISSION STATEMENT:
* Collect the room tax on behalf of our member municipalities in a fair & efficient manner.
*Work in partnership with the Door County Visitor bureau to support its marketing

efforts in tourism promotion & development for the Tourism Zone as a single destination for transient tourists who are reasonably likely to generate paid overnight stays.
*Keep all parties & businesses associated with the Tourism Zone & the Room Tax informed on the Commission's activities.

Door County Tourism Zone active permit holders are invited to join us at online report filing information sessions being held on the following dates and times:

January 18, 2023; 5:00 p.m. - VIA ZOOM

During the meeting, Juliana Behme will review where to find your login information, how to change contact information, how to check your old reports, and how to find your sales amounts. If you are not able to attend any of the offered sessions above, video instructions will be made available on the Door County Tourism Zone website as well or you can get a head start by watching the following U-tube video on how to file electronically.

REMINDER to Door County Tourism Zone Permit Holders: The monthly report for December, 2022 is due on or before January 31st, 2023. We are no longer accepting paper reports or checks as of January 1, 2023. Please visit our website at www.doorcountytourismzone.com to file your report online, watch a short "How To" video or find resources to help you with the online filing process.

Our office will be closed from Friday, December 23rd to Monday, January 2nd but staff will be available by email and will return phone calls.
