Any Tyler County PSD water customer that has not completed the Lead Service Line Survey that was sent in your statement, please do so by clicking the link below. Every water system in the US is required to inventory their system to identify and eliminate lead. This has to be completed by early fall so your help is greatly appreciated. Anyone interested in these heavy duty 5 gallon plastic jugs. They work great for hauling water. They had liquid chlorine in them and have been rinsed out. We have several available each week. Message us or call the office at 652-1401.

Alma/Centerville Water Project

We are doing our best to keep this project moving as quickly as possible. At this time, we do not have enough customers signed up. We need 150 signed customers before our funding agency will let us proceed. If we do not reach this number in the next week or so, we will not be able to file with the PSC in time to get the project out to bid this fall. It could delay the project for several months. If you live on Rt 18 between Lemasters bridge and the Alma/Centerville area and you haven’t been in contact with us yet, please reach out to us as soon as possible. We are also still needing to reach potential customers in the Klondike area. You can reach us at 304-652-1401 or 304-771-8526. We will make whatever arrangements are needed to get these user agreements signed.

There have been some questions about if this project is really going to happen. I can tell you that as long as we get at least 150 signed customers, it is happening. The funds have already been obligated and earmarked for this project from USDA. If anyone has any questions, please feel free to contact us.

NEW BILLING STATEMENTS!!

The last several months a lot our customers have not been receiving their billing cards. Some of you have only been getting part of it. The machine in Charleston was tearing them up when they were ran through to be sorted. We are in the process of switching to the billing statement pictured. Please be patient with us the next couple months while we make the change and get the customization completed. If you do not receive your bill by the 20th of the month please call the office and we can send out a new statement. If you have any questions please call the office at 304-652-1401.

I want to remind residents of Frew Circle, Blue, Tyler City and Alma/Centerville area that a representative for the district will be at the log cabin at Tyler County Fairgrounds on Tuesday June 1st, Thursday June 3rd & Wednesday June 9th from 6-7pm. Anyone still needing to fill out a user agreement can do so at this time. Remember the $100 tap fee is due at time of signing. If you have been contacted about an easement, you can take care of those during these times. We will have maps and can answer any questions you may have. If you do not wish to get a water tap at this time, we still need you to sign a declination statement. If you have any questions please contact Tina Lancaster at 304-652-1401 or 304-771-8526.

Please keep in mind that we cannot put the project out to bid until all potential customers are accounted for. The progression of this project is based solely on how soon we can get all the user agreements signed.
