Skagway State Street Rehabilitation

Skagway State Street Rehabilitation Potential project impacts include traffic delays, detours or temporary access during construction. Construction is anticipated to begin in 2022.

This Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities project includes the rehabilitation of 1.3 miles of State Street from Point Street to the Skagway River Bridge. Proposed improvements include resurfacing State Street pavement, repair subgrade, replace and upgrade curb ramps, driveway cuts and sidewalks, install new signage and road striping, replace culverts as necessary and replace the storm drain system.
