The Village DPW has been painting the crosswalks. Please be vigilant when driving around these people and areas. Areas that are coned off have most likely been freshly painted and will need time to dry.

🚦 Onondaga County Safe Streets for All (SS4A) Safety Action Plan

We recently attended a series of Project Partner Meetings for the Onondaga County Safe Streets for All (SS4A) Safety Action Plan. Our Mayor, along with members of the Village Boards, also attended and provided valuable input.

The Safety Action Plan focuses on reducing fatal and serious-injury crashes, with the long-term goal of reaching zero traffic deaths and serious injuries.

The plan will consider all public roadways throughout Onondaga County and combine crash and transportation data with input from municipalities, community partners, local leaders, and the public. This information will help identify safety needs and develop a prioritized set of strategies and projects to make our roads safer for everyone. 🚶‍♀️🚲🚗

**Krause Trail Closure Notice**

The Krause Trail will be closed beginning **tomorrow, August 4**, weather permitting, for scheduled maintenance.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we complete this work. The trail will reopen as soon as maintenance is finished.

The July utility bills include the new $22 base fee for sewer, however they don't identify it in the breakdown. If you are questioning the sewer charge, the difference should be the additional $22 base rate. We will be billing out of a new billing system within the next 2 months which will identify the base rate.
