🚒🐄 A little reminder for our tiny town!

Papalote Volunteer Fire Department, with assistance from Skidmore Volunteer FireDepartment, responded this morning to an accident involving a vehicle and a cow on the highway. We were told by the driver there were multiple cows on the roadway at the time.

To all our early risers, please stay alert and watch for the unexpected! In our tiny town, you never know what might be around the next corner. 🐄

Slow down, stay aware, and look out for one another. Y’all stay safe out there! ❤️🚒

A huge thank you, from Papalote VFD to Galloway and Sons Funeral Home for honoring our local first responders by providing such a wonderful dinner. We truly appreciate your kindness, generosity, and support for the men and women who serve our communities.

This dinner was also a meaningful opportunity to remember September 11th, as we mark the 25th anniversary of 9/11. We remember those firefighters, police officers, EMS personnel, and all the brave first responders who ran toward danger to help others, as well as the innocent lives lost that day.

🇺🇲 We will never forget. 🇺🇸

Thank you for helping us honor their sacrifice and the continued service of first responders everywhere.

BBQ Benefit for Patricia Edwards & Family

Come out to No Name Cantina and enjoy a delicious BBQ lunch while supporting a wonderful family in our community!

We'll be serving BBQ chicken quarters with rice and beans.

Patricia dedicated her time serving our community as a dispatcher for Beeville, and her husband served with the fire department. Through some of life's most difficult moments, Patricia has been there for so many of our families.

Now it's our turn to be there for her through her husband's passing.

We hope you'll join us, enjoy a great meal, and help support Patricia and her family during this time. Every meal purchased makes a difference.
