Oakton EMT Program

Oakton EMT Program The Oakton College EMT Program is a one semester course of study based on the U.S. DOT.

The primary focus of the EMT is to provide basic emergency medical care and transportation for critical and emergent patients who need medical assistance. Oakton EMT students will learn to respond to cardiac arrests, respiratory emergencies, shock and bleeding control, trauma, emergency childbirth, fracture splinting, wound care, diabetic emergencies, behavioral emergencies, and much more.
