Slater Fire Department Volunteer Fire Department We're a non-profit Organization that provides Fire and rescue services to the City of Slater and the surrounding rural area.

The department is made up of 10 members, 3 of which are EMT's and 5 first responders. The department operates out of 1 Rescue, 1 Tanker, 2 Engines, 1 Brush Truck, and 1 Ladder Truck.

Slater Rural Fire Protection District is currently taking sealed bids :

1994 Ford F350 diesel-non turbo crew cab. 93,### miles.

The truck can be viewed at Saline County Public Water District #2 on 240 highway here in Slater, sealed bids can also be submitted during business hours to the water districts business office.

Slater Rural Fire Protection District reserves the right to deny any and all bids.
