Slayton Area Community Band Concert June 26th!

The Slayton Community Band will perform at Gullord Park on Thursday, June 26th at 7:00 PM. All concerts are FREE and open to people of all ages.

Community Band Members were asked what they like about participating in the Slayton Area Community Band. The responses were: “I feel part of a family.” “Keeping up my musical skills.” “I just like to play my clarinet.” “Playing the old familiar songs and learning new ones.” “After being gone a year, I missed it a lot.” “Camaraderie with fellow bandmates.” “It’s one way I exercise my brain.” AND “Playing for the Community.”

Schaap Sanitation Relay for Life Team will be offering grilled jumbo hotdog, chips, bar, and lemonade or water from 5-7 PM-Free Will Donation for Relay for Life.
