Tonight is the night to come on out and support the Slayton Fire department in Hadley MN!!! PopROCKS! Is on from 9pm - Midnight!!

Update!

The repair has been completed and the road is open again. Thank you!
Murray County Road 38 will be closed beginning today, July 20, 2026, for a culvert repair.

Road closure locations:

South of Currie: 200th Avenue and 121st Street
North of Avoca: Intersection of 210th Avenue and 111th Street

The road will remain closed while crews complete the repair. Updates will be provided as work progresses.

Please plan an alternate route and use caution in the area. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.

6/23 @ 9:15am. The water in the SW quadrant of town will be shut down for a few hours due to the water main break on Juniper Avenue. The area that will have no water is generally within the red box below. Please share.

Burning Ban will continue today, May 4th 2026. We are expecting winds to gust over 20 mph and continue to have very low relative humidity. Hopefully we can resume normal burning procedures tomorrow, have a great Monday.
