Sledge we accomplished alot over the past four years. Unfortunately we came up short this time around. I want a special Thanks to Ms. Mary Black, Mr.Arthur Presley for always having my back also Mrs.Lindsay Mrs.Lorene Watson, Mrs. Donna Wimberly, Mrs.Bonnie Fleming, Mr. Howard Eckford, Chief Terry Williams, Asst. Chief Cedric Holman and Johnny Jamison it was an honor to work with each and everyone of you. Thanks for everything!!

I also want to Congratulate Yolanda Watson-Conley on her win and I wish you nothing but the Best!

I'm asking all mothers in the Town Of Sledge to come out on Saturday May 10, 2025 starting at 12 P.M. on main street we will be serving a meal to all the mothers in honor of Mother's Day we're asking all the men to come out and help prepare and serve a meal for our Mothers.

We have started the second half of replacing the street lights all over Sledge project with new LED lights on both sides of the track. Starting tonight you should see some of the new lights already installed and working. This is great for the Town and I hope it's just the beginning of many good things to come.

ATTENTION CITIZENS OF SLEDGE AND SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES

THE Christmas Parade for Sledge will be December 10th. The lineup will be at 5:30pm and the parade will begin promptly at 6:30pm. We are encouraging the community to come out and take part in this event. We are asking all School bands, dance groups, churches in the community, social clubs, motorcycle groups , families and business owners to be apart of the parade. Anyone willing to volunteer to make this a great event please Contact Mayor Willie READUS or Sledge Town Hall to sign up and be apart.
